IN MEMORIAM TO GASPARD J. DEAR

The 501c3 Foundation's missions are:

Award an annual $1,000 music scholarship to a deserving Orchestra student at Gaspard's Alma maters: Carnage GT/AIG Magnet Middle and Millbrook IB Magnet High School of Raleigh NC 

Promote education and awareness of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy also known as HCM which is the most common of all genetic heart conditions affecting over 1 in 500 people in the general population. There is no gender, age, or ethnic factor specific to HCM as it is an equal opportunity disease. (cited from 4hcm.org)
